Outline

This course will explore the importance of outdoors learning and creating an effective outdoors learning environment – it is suitable for practitioners who are relatively new to the EYFS.

Description

This half day course is designed to give inspiration and confidence to practitioners new to working outdoors with children in the EYFS. We will consider planning an effective outdoors space, including resources and enhancements, creating a safe and responsive space and the practitioner’s role outdoors. We will focus particularly on how literacy and numeracy development outdoors can be maximised.
