The information you provide is collected for the purpose of setting up a Sefton Education Services user account. Depending on your access level, your user account will enable you to access communications, book training courses and purchase services for schools, colleges and PVI settings.
If you purchase a service or book a course, your information will be shared with the service provider in order to process your request. The information of account users (apart from school governors) shall be retained for a period of two years from the date the user account was last activated. After a period of 4 years, personal information held on that individual will be deleted.
School governors’ information will be paused in the system at the end of the individuals term of office. After 6 years from the end of the term of office, the personal information will be deleted.
Your information will be processed in adherence to your legal rights, including, but not limited to the right to withdraw consent, right to copies of your information and right to be forgotten. You have right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office www.ico.org.uk
