NB – Notice for Voluntary Aided Schools
All Voluntary Aided schools, who are their own admission authority, should have now determined their admission arrangements for 2020-21 via the school’s Governing Body. If any changes have been made to your admission arrangements for 2020-21, you MUST submit a copy of the revised admissions policy to the Local Authority ASAP (if you have not already done so) for inclusion within the School Admissions Guide for Parents which will be published in September 2019.
If you do not supply details of any revised arrangements to the LA, your current admissions policy will be published again in September 2019.
Individual Admissions Authorities must also publish their Admissions Policy on their own school website.
If you consider that the admission arrangements of a Local Authority maintained school or an academy do not comply with the School Admissions Code, or other legislation relating to school admissions, it is still possible to make an objection to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator (OSA). Any objection must be submitted by 15 May 2019.
Details of how to complete the school admissions objection form are given on the School Adjudicator’s site https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/objection-to-school-admission-arrangements
